The National Weather Service in Tulsa has issued a Flood Warning for the Neosho River near from Wednesday morning until further notice, or until the warning is cancelled.
At 9:30 AM Tuesday, the stage was 3.57 feet.
Flood stage is 15.0 feet.
Moderate flooding is forecast.
Forecast...The Neosho River near Commerce is expected to rise above flood stage late Wednesday morning and continue to rise to near 21.0 feet by Thursday evening.
Impact...At 21.0 feet, moderate agricultural flooding occurs. Some roads within Riverview Park become flooded including State Highway 125 near the fairgrounds.
