Stormdar Weather Launches New Website Featuring Branson Area Weather Coverage

Updated: Mar 11, 2019

Stormdar Weather, a name trusted by Branson area residents for over 14 years, has launched a new website focused on providing live weather coverage for Branson and surrounding communities. StormdarWeather.com features live interactive radar, current conditions, daily video forecasts, lake levels and more.

Stormdar Weather began in 2005 as a Facebook page dedicated to keeping Branson area residents safe during all types of weather. It has since grown by leaps and bounds, and reached 1.8 million engagements in 2018.

“I started Stormdar specifically to focus on weather in the Branson area, since we have millions of visitors each year. I felt the need to protect our residents as well as our tourists,” says Randy Luna, Stormdar Weather founder. "Our new website gives us the ability to relay live weather information in a way we can't do on Facebook."

Designed to be a one-stop shop for Branson weather, the site also offers road conditions, a weekly podcast and even free customized travel forecasts, which gives individual users weather information for any trip, from Point A to Point B.

One of the features Luna is most excited about is the interactive radar. "It shows real-time watches and warnings, live lightning strikes and can zoom down to street-level," he explains. "We don't want anyone to be caught off guard when severe weather hits."

Stormdar Weather is accessible at StormdarWeather.com, as well as on their Facebook page at Facebook.com/StormdarWeather.
