Two Table Rock Dam Gates Remain Open on Wednesday

Two spillway gates remain open two feet each releasing about 3,900 cubic feet per second, which is equivalent to about one hydropower running full power. Beginning Tuesday, all four hydropower units were taken offline while maintenance is performed on the unit’s head gates. Spillway releases will continue, as needed, until the hydropower units are able to be brought back online.

Flooding downstream isn't a problem, since approximately the same about of water is being released as when the generation units are online.
